The Manaslu Circuit Trek is an altered rendition of the fullManaslu Tsum Valley Trek, which is also referred to as the condensed or expedited Manaslu Circuit Trek or Manaslu Trek. If you have sufficient time during your Manaslu Circut trek, it is worth considering embarking on a one-week sightseeing excursion to Tsum Valley. This presents an opportunity to explore a revered Buddhist region where the ancient Tibetan culture and way of life greatly influence the surroundings. Tsum Valley boasts enchanting monasteries, diverse flora and fauna, breathtaking landscapes, and majestic Himalayan ranges, all while immersing you in a cultural ambiance throughout the journey.

Unlike the conventional treks in the Everest and Annapurna regions, the Manaslu Round Trek offers a pristine experience for trekkers who prefer to explore picturesque terrain away from the crowds. Our specially designed Manaslu circuit trek allows you to discover the serene beauty of the Manaslu Trekking region, taking you around Mt. Manaslu (8,163m), the world’s 8th highest summit, renowned as one of the most challenging mountains to conquer among climbers.

Despite the increasing popularity of teahouses since 2010, the trekking route remains remote and off-the-beaten path, showcasing all the quintessential features of a classic Nepalese trek. From traditional monasteries to breathtaking countryside adorned with snow-capped peaks, and not to forget the thrilling crossings of high suspension bridges, the Manaslu trek has it all.

As you traverse the landscape, be prepared to be mesmerized by the awe-inspiring mountain scenery. This trek offers you the opportunity to witness the magnificence of Mt. Manaslu and its neighboring snowy peaks, including Annapurna II, Shringi Himal, Cheo Peak, Kang Koru, Gyagi Kung, and Himlung. With nature’s grandeur, charming settlements, and relatively easier accessibility compared to similar treks, it’s no wonder that visitors greatly admire the Manaslu trek.

Embark on an awe-inspiring adventure with the Trekkings Hub family as you explore the captivating landscapes of Nepal. The trekking path commences in Bapak, which is a scenic 7/8-hour drive away from Kathmandu. As you make your way alongside the river valley, you will be greeted by picturesque rustic villages adorned with Mani stone-wall carvings, vibrant prayer flags, and enchanting woodlands filled with pine, cedar, birch, junipers, and rhododendron.

While traversing through the Manaslu Conservation Area, trekkers may have the opportunity to encounter various species of fauna, including the endangered snow leopards. Additionally, this journey offers a unique chance to gain a comprehensive understanding of the rich cultures, traditions, and lifestyles of ethnic communities such as Gurung, Rai, Magar, and Sherpa.

The trek towards Lakey La, the highest summit standing at an impressive 5106m, takes you through the charming villages of Jagat, Deng, Namrung, Lho, Syalla, Samagaun, Samdo, and Dharmasala. From the summit, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding area. After crossing the pass, the trail descends steeply towards Bhimthang, offering panoramic vistas of the Annapurna and Manaslu Ranges. Finally, you will trek through the Annapurna Conservation Area from Bhimthang to Dharapani before concluding your journey with a drive back to Kathmandu.
